This is my favorite bookstore, and when I saw this wall, I thought it was a photograph. It turns out, those are books piled on top each other and formed as such. So, I had to take a photo.
For the uninitiated, the University of the Philippines is a premier university here in the Philippines, and the university has a statue that serves as its iconic symbol called The Oblation. The oblation was a work of art by Guillermo Tolentino, a Filipino sculptor. Then several years later, Ferdinand Cacnio, a visual artist graduate from the university, created a so-called female Oblation with the hashtag #UPLift.
I took this shot while I was on top of the city hall. The river is so clean and I just to take a shot.
Isn’t this church a beauty? It is popularly called Manila Cathedral. It was established by the secular priest Juan de Vivero in 1571.
